
Shay Khatiri is a fellow at the Rainey Center and a vice president and senior fellow at the Yorktown Institute. His work focuses on U.S. policy in Europe and the Middle East. He is a native Persian speaker and an immigrant from Iran. He studied strategic studies and international economics at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), focusing on NATO and trans-Atlantic security. He lives in Scottsdale, AZ, and watches too much soccer.
